The Yule Cat, or Jolakotturinn, prowls through Icelandic folklore, as a giant spectral feline with eyes that gleam like winter fire under moonlight. It is said to stalk the snowy countryside on Christmas Eve, seeking out those who have not received new clothes for the season. 
To some, it is a tale of terror; to others, a reminder of generosity and warmth amid the dark winter. Wrapped in myth and fur as black as the solstice night, the Yule Cat remains a haunting guardian of Yule tradition and lore.
